Oswald Dickenson came from Cromford and his name is on the Cromford Roll of Honour. He left for service on 10th March 1917 aged nineteen. After the War he returned to work at the Mill.
Pte Oswald Dickenson H/231649 was originally posted to the Home Service Battalion, Leicestershire Regiment.
Subsequently, he was attached to B Coy. 2/1st Dorset Yeomanry, Sevenoaks, Kent.
