Notes
William joined the army in February 1918 aged thirty-eight. He was Crich-born, the son of William and Harriett Curzon. He married Sarah Brocklehurst in 1903, moving from Crich to Longway Bank, Whatstandwell.
Some time during the war he was at Charnwood Forest VAD convalescent hospital.
