There is John H Beresford of The Norfolk Regiment recorded but with regimental number 40920. He was awarded the Victory and British War medals.

He worked in the spinning department of Lea Mills and joined the forces on 26th February 1917 aged 20 years.

The "best fit" discovered is John Henry Beresford of Wirksworth baptised 09/10/1898, son of Albert and Annie Beresford. From the Lea Mills records he was born about 1897. Unsure as to whether this is the same man.
