CRICH, LEA & HOLLOWAY
Mrs Deacon of Chase Cliffe, has had in hand the compiling of a complete list of names of the Crich men who gave their lives in the war. The names have been inscribed on a marble tablet for erection in the Parish Church. Sixty-two names are recorded and the Bishop of Derby is to unveil and dedicate the Roll of Honour on Sunday. A confirmation service is to follow.

Through the munificence of Mr and Mrs Maurice DEACON, Chase Cliffe, a handsome tablet has been erected in the Parish Church. The memorial recording the names and rank of sixty-two sailors and soldiers from the parish “gone west” was unveiled and dedicated on Sunday by the Bishop of Derby.
