Biography
John, born in 1886, was a plumber by trade. He served with the Royal Engineers for three and a half years until his demob in 1918. He spent time serving in Salonika, Romania and other parts of the Near East. He married Sarah Ethel Henshaw in 1934. For many years John and Sarah lived at East View, Crich.
